Today I ate:
- Bowl of plain organic yogurt (3.5% MF) with frozen organic blueberries and local organic hemp hearts
- A go-mug of black coffee
- An organic apple slathered with homemade peanut butter (apparently apples for lunch is becoming a thing!)
- Slice of organic (is this organic day?) cheese and a glass of red wine
- Another glass of wine with homemade butter chicken served over basmati rice, followed by some fair trade chocolate chips
This was our first time making butter chicken. Unfortunately the recipe we chose didn’t turn out to be a good one, and we had to heavily adapt it while cooking it (note to self: tomato paste in a butter chicken sauce isn’t a great idea). But it was fun, and still good! I’m looking forward to trying a different butter chicken recipe in the future.
