The last week and a half has been busy with lots of socializing and being away from home. After indulging a little too much in snack food and wine for a few days, I cut out alcohol and counted calories again (albeit in my head with just rough estimates). The results? A couple pounds lost over the course of just a few days! I’m going to play around with reducing my wine intake and see what effect that has (last night I had a dinner party to attend, so that wasn’t happening ;) ).

Yesterday’s weight: 123.8 lbs
Yesterday’s body fat: 25.5 %

This means that so far I have lost 2.5 lbs and .5% body fat in about three weeks. Only 7.5 lbs and 2.5 % body fat in the next six weeks to go!

Yesterday I ate:

9:30am Go-mug of black coffee (tried Nabob’s Espresso Dark Roast for the first time – so delicious!) and an organic apple with homemade organic peanut butter smeared on top – 300 calories

11:45am Glass of ice water and 30 grams organic aged cheddar cheese – 125 calories

1:15pm BIG bowl air-popped popcorn drizzled with plenty of unsalted butter and Himalayan pink sea salt, plus a few Smarties and another glass of ice water – 600 calories

2:30pm Glass of ice water – 0 calories

7:30pm Dinner party! A couple glasses of Prosecco, short ribs, cheesy polenta, arugula salad, a couple glasses red wine, a few glasses of water, and two chocolate zucchini cupcakes – 1,200 calories

Total calories: 2,225

Activity

Cardio: 1 hour 30 minutes walking
