8:45am 1 slice homemade whole wheat bread, toasted and topped with homemade all-natural smooth peanut butter and local unpasteurized clover honey, plus a go-mug of black dark-roast coffee.
10:30am Two glasses ice water.
11:30am Green smoothie with 2 ice cubes, 1 cup water, 1 chopped apple, 1 tbsp each lemon juice and greens powder, and 1 tsp each chia seeds and matcha powder (I drank half).
12pm – 12:45pm 2 cups of water (during Spinning class).
1pm Whole wheat spaghetti with homemade tomato sauce and fresh parmesan, plus a glass of ice water.
2pm A few chocolate / PB chips, the rest of the green smoothie, and a glass of ice water.
3pm Leftover ribs and mashed potatoes with a glass of ice water.
4:30pm A few tamari almonds.
6pm Drinks and shared appetizers at the Cornerstone: two glasses red wine, steak bites, hummus with crackers and veggies, cheese with crackers, french fries, chocolate espresso cheesecake.
8pm A few glasses ice water.
Fri. April 18
8:30am Tastings of balsamic vinegar (perks of being a radio co-host!).
9:45am One slice homemade whole wheat bread, toasted and topped with homemade all-natural PB and local unpasteurized honey, plus a go-mug of black dark-roast coffee.
12pm 1 glass ice water.
12:30pm A couple leftover dry-rub ribs and the last of the homemade mashed potatoes with a glass of ice water.
12:45pm Another glass of ice water.
1pm Another glass of ice water. Clearly I waited too long in the day to start drinking water! Body must have been parched without me even realizing it.
2pm Ice water!
Throughout the afternoon: More ice water and some cheddar cheese and tamari almonds.
7pm Buttery popcorn, Pepsi, and Twizzlers at the movies.
