Thurs. April 24
I’m back at tracking my food intake! I woke up this morning still feeling a little tired and sniffly, but definitely feeling significantly better. Here’s what I ate today:
9:30am Small bowl of organic plain, fat-free yogurt (about 1/3 cup) with organic frozen blueberries (about 1/4 cup) and a spoonful of ground flax, plus a go-mug of black dark-roast coffee. This was my first coffee since last week. I missed my coffee.
10:15am 1 glass ice water.
11:30am Another glass of water and a cherry Halls (must. ward. off. cold. :)).
12:15pm Little bowlful of baby carrots and a cup of green and white fusion tea.
12:45pm Plate of homemade stirfry with brown rice, bison stewing meat, red pepper, bok choy, mushrooms, carrots, and broccoli, plus a glass of ice water.
2pm Two strawberries, another bowlful of baby carrots, and a glass of ice water.
3pm Glass bottle of Ginger Ale (237 ml).
3:45pm Homemade chicken Caesar salad with organic romaine, free-range grilled chicken breast, vegan dressing, homemade croutons (using homemade whole wheat bread), and Parmesan, plus a glass of ice water.
4:15pm Three Belgian chocolate truffles.
6pm Another chocolate truffle and a glass of ice water.
Fri. April 25
8am Go-mug of black dark-roast coffee.
9:20am 1 apple.
11:30am 1 glass ice water.
12pm Another glass of ice water and a little bowl of baby carrots.
1pm Lunch at Chaise Cafe with the mother dear, godmother dear, and honorary godmother dear! I had two tall glasses of ice water, the house salad with mixed greens and a blueberry balsamic dressing, half of a duck club sandwich, and frites with aoili, plus a couple spoonfuls of chocolate mousse. It was super tasty – they make everything from scratch.
3:45pm 1 glass ice water.
5pm Some leftover sandwich, plain chips, Pepsi, and Twizzlers (a.k.a. usual Friday evening dinner ;)).
7pm 2 glasses ice water.
8:45pm Another glass of ice water.
