Food diary – Sat. April 26 & Sun. April 27, 2014

Sat. April 26

9:15am 1 glass ice water.

9:30am Go-mug of black dark-roast coffee.

10:45am 3/4 cup plain, non-fat organic yogurt, 2 tbsp ground local flax, and 1/4 cup frozen organic blueberries, plus a glass of ice water.

11:30am Two strawberries.

12:15pm A couple bites of brown rice and about a cup of stirfried bison, broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, red pepper, and bok choy, plus a glass of ice water.

1:15pm Another glass of ice water and a slice of homemade whole wheat bread, toasted and topped with local butter and local unpasteurized honey.

2pm One organic  Valencia orange.

3pm A glass of ice water and a couple handfuls Montreal steak spice chips.

5pm 1 glass red wine.

6:30pm Love Local event! We got to sample lots of local food: red wine, pulled pork, cinnamon bun, perogies, cheese, onion bread, pastry, and Saskatoon berry pie. So much fun!

9pm Another glass of red wine and a locally-made chocolate marble cupcake.

11pm Water and 1/2 slice homemade whole wheat bread with homemade peanut butter and raspberry jam.

Sun. April 27

11am 1 cup organic plain non-fat yogurt with 2 tbsp local ground flax and about 1/3 cup frozen organic blueberries, plus a go-mug of black dark-roast coffee.

12pm 1 glass of ice water.

12:45pm Another glass of ice water and a little bowl of baby carrots.

2pm A glass of ice water and some homemade hashbrowns.

2:30pm Another glass of ice water.

4pm Popcorn, Twizzlers, and Pepsi at the movies (Grand Budapest Hotel!) – because a movie isn’t complete without snacks.

6pm 1 glass red wine.

7:30pm Glass of ice water.
