Food diary – Wed. May 14 & Thurs. May 15, 2014

Wed. May 14

8am Ezekiel sprouted-grain tortilla with homemade PB and local honey, the rest of yesterday’s green smoothie, and a go-mug of black dark-roast coffee.

12:45pm Two glasses water and leftover homemade mashed potatoes.

1:30pm Plain nonfat organic yogurt with frozen raspberries and a spoonful of local flax, plus 3 perogies.

2:30pm Two more glasses of water.

4pm One glass of water, one glass red wine, and a plate of homemade spiced chickpeas over brown rice.

5:45pm One apple and one glass water.

Exercise: 3.5 km run, 30 minutes walking.

Tues. May 15

8am One slice homemade whole wheat bread, toasted and topped with homemade peanut butter and local honey, plus a go-mug of black dark-roast coffee.

10:30am One glass water.

11am Another glass of water and an apple.

11:30am Bowl of homemade chicken & Swiss chard soup.

11:45am Glass of water.

4pm Two glasses water.

4:30pm One farmers’ sausage and five perogies, plus a glass of red wine.

6:30pm One glass water, one glass red wine and about 1 tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips.

7:30pm One glass water.

Exercise: 30 minutes gentle hatha yoga, 50 minutes biking.
