Food diary – Tues. May 20 & Wed. May 21, 2014

Tues. May 20

8:30am One mug green & white fusion tea.

9am Bowl of nonfat plain yogurt with ground flax and frozen blueberries.

10am One glass water and a slice of homemade whole wheat bread, toasted and topped with homemade PB and local honey.

10:30am One mug of tea.

11:15am One apple.

1pm A few peanuts and some water.

2:45pm One slice toast with PB and honey, plus a glass of water.

4:30pm Two rolls homemade vegan sushi with nori, sushi rice, avocado, shiitake mushrooms, panko, and a spicy vegan mayo, plus a couple glasses of lemon water.

Throughout the evening: More lemon water.

No exercise for me again today. Still awfully sick. Sad face.

Wed. May 21

8am One glass of lemon water plus an Ezekiel sprouted-grain wrap with homemade peanut butter, local honey, and 1/2 banana.

Throughout the morning: About two more cups of lemon water.

1:15pm Seven perogies and another glass of lemon water.

1:45pm Part of a brownie-in-a-mug (made with a couple spoonfuls spelt flour and yogurt, plus some sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. It wasn’t very good. More of a Disappointment Brownie than anything).

3pm Glass of lemon water.

5pm Homemade stirfry with bison, baby bok choy, broccoli, carrots, and mushrooms over brown rice, plus a glass of water.

5:45pm Another (small) plate of stirfry.

6:15pm Glass of water and an apple.

Exercise: 30 minutes walking. Still sick, but feeling better than yesterday!
