Food diary – Sat. May 24 & Sun. May 25, 2014

Sat. May 24

8:15am Bowl of plain nonfat organic yogurt with ground flax and frozen blueberries, plus some water.

11am Sprouted wrap with homemade PB, honey, and 1/2 banana, plus a glass of lemon water.

1pm A few roasted-in-shell peanuts, a few semi-sweet chocolate chips, and six perogies plus a glass of lemon water (had a case of the I’m-hungry-but-don’t-know-what-I-wants this afternoon!).

2pm Another glass of water.

Throughout the afternoon: A slice of homemade whole wheat bread, freshly baked, with butter, and I think some more chocolate chips and water (Internet went down so I can’t remember exactly).

Throughout the evening: A couple of white wine spritzers, some smoked gouda and meats with crackers, some diced beets, and tomato slices at a wine & cheese party.

Exercise: 1 hour 15 minutes walking. Feel much better today!

Sun. May 25, 2014

9:15am One big glass of lemon water and a go-mug of black dark-roast coffee. I drank these over the course of an hour or two.

10am Homemade pan-fried potato hashbrowns plus a scrambled egg with black pepper.

12pm Another big glass of lemon water (again, drank this over a couple hours).

Throughout the afternoon: Snacked on leftover hashbrowns.

4:30pm Big glass of water and half of a banana with peanut butter.

5pm Soba noodles in a homemade peanut sauce with broccoli, red bell pepper, mushrooms, and chicken, plus a glass of red wine and about a tablespoon of semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Throughout the evening: Some more water.

8:15pm One apple. I don’t normally like to eat so late, but I was hungry!

I was working pretty much constantly today (have to make up for all of that resting I did last week when I was ill!), and didn’t end up fitting any exercise in.
