Mon. June 9
8:30am One Special K chocolate granola bar and one single-serving portion of wild blueberry Liberte Greek nonfat yogurt.
9:30am Tall Starbucks black medium-roast coffee.
11:15am Leftover cheese and crackers from yesterday.
12:45pm Chocolate gelato and a chocolate-maker store (it smelled so good inside there!).
Throughout the afternoon: Some water.
3:30pm One glass sangria.
4:30pm A couple pieces bread with butter, chicken satay (I had 1.5 skewers), crispy duck wings (I had 1.5 wings), and frites in duck fat truffle oil (1/2 portion), plus a glass of red wine, a glass of water, and a few bites each of chocolate cheesecake and New York cheesecake.
Throughout the evening: More water.
Exercise: About 4 or 5 hours walking. We are so sunburned and legs / feet are so tired at this point. But having so much fun being in a different city!
Tues. June 10
8:45am Single-serving portion of wild blueberry yogurt.
9:30am Bottle of Naked orange juice from Starbucks. My sore throat started a bit yesterday, and I ignored it (except for my copious consumption of Halls, of course). It’s still sore today. Sighs. Getting SO TIRED of getting sick! Good thing there is orange juice. I drank about half of this in the morning, and the other half in the afternoon.
10am Tall peppermint tea from Starbucks.
Throughout the afternoon: Some water (maybe about 2 cups).
2:30pm Half of a chicken Caesar salad wrap from The New Yorker Deli.
5:30pm The other half of the wrap, plus a can of Ginger Ale.
Throughout the evening: Water (perhaps about a cup).
Exercise: About 3 hours of walking.
