Food diary – Wed. June 11 & Thurs. June 12, 2014

Wed. June 11

Not listed: the mounds of cherry Halls that I consumed all. day. long. :)

4am (Toronto time) 1/2 Special K chocolate granola bar and a small cup of orange juice.

5:15am (Toronto time) 1 slice of cinnamon swirl coffee cake and a tall black coffee from Starbucks.

At some point during the flight from Toronto to Winnipeg: 1 cup water.

9:30am (Winnipeg time) One slice homemade whole wheat bread, toasted and topped with homemade peanut butter and local honey, plus a glass of water.

10:30am 1 glass water.

11:15am Another cup of coffee.

1pm Bowl of homemade chard / beet greens / tomato / chicken soup, plus a small handful of “Picnic Trail Mix” from U-RAAW!

3pm 1 glass water.

4pm 1 glass Ginger Ale.

5:15pm Bowl of homemade potato and leek soup.

6pm Small glass of orange juice.

7pm Small glass of Ginger Ale.

7:45pm Some home-roasted chickpeas and some water.

Exercise: 15 minutes walking.

Thurs. June 12

7:45am Bowl of oatmeal with Naked Oats, flax, honey, cinnamon, whey powder, water, and dark leafy greens powder.

8am Go-mug of black dark-roast coffee.

10am Small glass of orange juice.

12:30pm Small bowl of Nature’s Path Vanilla Crunch cereal with 1% milk and two strawberries.

1:15pm One glass Ginger Ale.

2pm Small glass of orange juice.

3:15pm Two more strawberries and another glass of Ginger Ale.

5pm Homemade chicken Caesar salad (my bowl included 1/2 head of romaine lettuce with a Vegenaise dressing, 1/4 chopped baked chicken breast, homemade croutons from whole wheat bread, and parmesan) and a glass of water.

5:30pm One U-RAAW! Cashew Crisp bar and a slice of homemade whole wheat bread (freshly baked!) with plenty of butter.

Throughout the evening: a little orange juice and some water. Also some Halls!

Exercise: 1 hour 15 minutes walking.
